Its not you. :P
People are stupid.
Although I must say that GW isn't half as bad as Diablo2. That game is all trash. With the exception of friends, its all 90% "oWnEd Gg Kk tHx". Or my favorite "ya Owned you 5-0 bi@!&. keep begging on the floor for you bod nubs."
Just gota take it all in, the good with the bad. And GW DOES have good.

req 8 15^50 Storm bow AND chaos axe....hmmm...ebay? NEVER!
no offense to anyone having both and having worked hard for them, but I would assume it'd take a bit more intelligence/maturity then that guy has...or maybe he just has lots of time of his hands
bah...either way it makes me wish there were unlimited /ignore slots then we could have a thread on why you whould ignore such and such(I know it's againsts forum rules but can't you see the utility there) then 500+ people could all ignore him..

All that comes to mind to me here is that you (OP) should just stay out of other peoples business. That's a big problem with this game, too many trying to tell others how to play the game, how to build their characters and how to play their characters the way THEY see it. If someone makes a typo mistake let them, what's it to you? If they make a spelling mistake, let them again what's it to you? Are you a "corrections" officer or english major in real life and maybe this just comes naturally?

Good on you for being helpful. Don't stop helping people based on one jerk.
(He's lucky someone didn't rag on him as a n00b for trying to sell a bow that doesn't exist!)

Although I commend you for trying to help people OP, you must realize that people get insulted when you try to correct them. That jerk probably thought you were calling him a noob for telling him that he should ask for a shadow bow instead of a chaos bow. If someone is trying to buy an expensive item like a perfect storm bow or chaos axe, they should of course know what the difference is in a chaos axe and shadow bow. But there's no excuse of him being a complete jackass like that.
My advice to you and most people out there is to stay out of people’s businesses in this game like what Deathqueen said. This is a game, not a grammar course. Who cares if someone misspells “your” instead of “you’re” or “an” instead of “and”. If something doesn’t affect you in anyways, then leave it alone.

I agree totally, but again, in the beginning, it wasn't even about grammar.

If 5 years of counter-strike taught me anything, it's to taunt them with their own stupidity to have the most positive effect.
Or you know, just stoop to their level, go a little bit lower, and make them flip ouuuut.

Yeah, but it should be "there are jerks" instead of "there is jerks". Man, I'm just an electrical engineer.

you just tell him to f.off and then that rank does not matter as it is pve and rank means nothing in pve, the same way fissure armor means nothing in pvp

I actually prefer this combo to all 15k Druids. That's my own personal taste and have thought about using it myself. Right now I'm straight 1.5.
Anyway, you meet these types all the time. I've chosen to ignore them and move on rather than engage them for the most part. On the rare occasion that I have actually gone toe to toe with one of these belligerent bambinos, I’ve had to shut the game off and walk away for a while. But overall, I find most people nice and helpful and haven’t considered leaving due to an immature minority.

I don't really understand why people get offended when corrected. Doesn't it feel better to know that you'll spell a word / use grammar more correctly in the future thanks to a person who dedicated a few seconds of his/her life to aid you on an intellectual level?
To all of the helpful people out there: Feel free to correct the heck out of the grammar, spelling and punctuation in this post!

Ditto. I know I've made plenty of mistakes and I'm not offended at all when someone corrects me...as long as they've civil about it.
